Dear families,
As you know, we will not be able to complete our school year in our classrooms. We are all heartbroken that we can’t be together to finish our learning for the year, but we know this is the safest decision for the children, families and school staff. It is very important to remember that the school year is not over and instruction and learning will continue until the scheduled end of the year, June 3rd.
If you have not yet picked up your second pack of instructional materials and activities it is important that you do that as soon as possible. The third and final set of instructional materials and activities will be available for pick-up on May 4th. All assigned work must be returned to the teachers by May 29th so that teachers can grade student work and prepare final report cards. Final report cards will be mailed to families in early June. If you have moved in the past few months please contact Miss Emily at 482-7706 to update your information.
Important Reminder: Children are expected to work on their assignments Monday-Friday, and provide their teacher proof of school work every day by email, text, What’s App, phone call, completion of on-line assignments for those students with internet access or other ways arranged by your child’s classroom teacher. We are still reporting daily attendance to the School District.
Remember that the staff of the Charter School are committed to the continued growth of your child and are ready to do everything they can to minimize the impact of the school closure. If you have any questions or concerns please call the school at 239-482-7706.
Until we are together again in our beautiful new building, stay safe and know that we miss you!
