Fun in First!
Welcome to First Grade
I am SO excited to start year two as a first grade classroom teacher this year! I have learned so much from the previous year and I can’t wait to meet and get to know each of my new students. 🙂 I have so many fun topics, lessons, activities, and experiments in store for my little firsties. My favorite part of working at a charter school is the flexibility I can have with my own creativity. We will be working in small reading and math groups to help differentiate instruction as well as whole group lessons. I know my students will work hard and always try their very best. My plan is to always encourage and foster a fun, educational, and safe learning environment in which all of my students will succeed and thrive in their own, personal way. I enjoy making learning fun with hands-on experience and real-life application, as well as traditional teaching tactics. As a classroom teacher I hope to inspire, instruct, and uplift my students in any situation. I
will always be there to motivate them to work hard, to never give up, and most importantly to believe in themselves.I value a good relationship with my students and I believe we will all learn something from each other in one way or another. I believe in the open door policy whereas I will always be a listening ear and guiding light for my students. I will teach my students to always be kind and compassionate to one another and I hope to not only instill academic skills, but interpersonal skills as well.
