Hello, I am Samantha Cicchini, or as the students call me, “Miss Sam”. I was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. I received both my Bachelors and Masters of Education from Temple University which is in the city. I taught Elementary level Science and Technology in the Philadelphia School District from 2104-2016. I came to Fort Myers over three years ago looking for a new job opportunity and I was not disappointed. This is my fourth school year with the Harlem Heights Community Charter School and honestly, this has been and continues to be the best teaching experience of my career. I am so proud to be part of a staff that is so dedicated to its students. All of our educators aim to provide thought-provoking learning experiences that are focused on the specific needs and interests of our students. We also truly want to make our school feel like a community, encouraging our students to practice kindness, cooperation, and fairness! This is especially true in my classroom. As a Kindergarten teacher, I provide a foundation of education for the students which they will hopefully learn to build upon each year. I help my students come to understand and value themselves both as learners and as people.
